Welcome to the world of REGAN and her band in 2004. This previously unreleased recording is a pure snapshot in time and showcases the musical conversation between the band members. After extensive touring, they stepped into the studio to blend their much respected live sound full of energy and improv with the balance of a controlled studio setting.
 
With the majority of Slow Down being recorded as live as possible and only a few songs that were graced with overdubs, the record features each members' talents and stays very close to displaying the group's live sound, which is a departure from Regan's previous albums. With the advance in technology since 2004 and incompatible computer systems, listeners are treated to the songs as they sit with their original (sometimes incomplete) mixes and editing, preserving the sounds of the time. Regan's crafty songwriting is also joined by two songs contributed by her guitarist and long-time friend, Andrew Winn (of Agents Of Good Roots).
