throw in a childhood full of fantasy and sci-fi books and movies, add a dash of perpetual daydreaming, and...

...you have Regan and her music.
 

Regan Sprenkle  (aka: R𝝣GAN)  has had a life-long career as a songwriter, vocalist, composer, performer, arranger, recording artist, producer, engineer, studio musician, voice-over artist, instructor and entrepreneur. (shew!)

Known for her versatile use of vocals beyond the traditional sense, Regan has created many vocal arrangements spanning many genres. Her vocal arrangements are included on 2-time Grammy Award winner, Jason Mraz's album, "Yes" (Warner Brothers) among many, many more. Her full vocal scores create otherworldly experiences such as that of the highly acclaimed collaborative art piece "Totems" featuring costumes designed by internationally known visual artist, Carol Meese. 

As a composer, her unique background of rock/pop songwriting and performing mixed with a choral/classical training gives her the ability to shift styles and instrumentation to suit each project with a unique touch. She is known for using voice in innovative ways for texture and color and adept at creating memorable melodic themes.

As "R𝝣GAN", the singer-songwriter/recording artist, she has performed her own blend of rock, jazz, groove and beyond throughout the country and Europe. Her studio creations work voice talent have been featured on major network TV & commercials, major and independent record labels and her recording productions have received numerous acclaims. 

 

She has had the pleasure of sharing the bill with, producing, recording with and arranging for many accomplished talents including: Ben Folds, James Earl Jones, Cracker, members of The Dave Matthews Band and Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Agents of Good Roots, Tim Be Told, Chantal Kreviazuk and 2-time Grammy award winner, Jason Mraz, just to name a few. Members of Regan's band have also played with Ryan Adams, KD Lang, Mandy Moore, Natalie Prass, Rachel Yamagata, fun. & more.

Regan received a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Voice/Choral Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also studied Music Education, Advanced Media Technology and Advertising. She has pursued and explored personal education and training in Vocal Improvisation which includes studying with international voice artist, Rhiannon (Bobby McFerrin, WeB3). She has given numerous workshops, master classes and private instruction on improv methods to broaden the musical and creative mind and to gain self confidence as a vocalist, writer and musician.

Regan is also owner of the project studio Three Bird Studios in Richmond, VA.
